RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
Welcome to Mondo Rent Ibiza. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Services Provided
Mondo Rent Ibiza offers vehicle rental services on the island of Ibiza (Balearic Islands). Specific rental conditions are detailed in the contract signed at the time of vehicle pickup.

3. Bookings and Payments

• Bookings can be made online or directly at our office.

• Payment is accepted by credit card, debit card, or other methods indicated at the time of booking.

• A bank card is required to guarantee the reservation.

• Any changes or cancellations must comply with our refund policy (see section Cancellations).

4. Required Documentation
To collect the vehicle, the customer must present:

• National ID or passport

• Valid driving license for Spain and for the rented vehicle category

• Bank card in the name of the main driver

Age requirement: the driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid license for at least 2 years.

5. Rental Conditions

• The customer accepts the condition of the vehicle at the time of delivery.

• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition and with the same fuel level.

• Vehicle use is limited exclusively to the island of Ibiza, unless written authorization is granted.

• It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Allow unauthorized persons or minors to use the vehicle

  • Participate in races, competitions, or illegal activities

  • Transport hazardous goods

  • Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

6. Security Deposit

• A deposit will be blocked on the bank card.

• The deposit will be released after the vehicle is returned and inspected for damages.

7. Insurance

• All vehicles include basic third-party insurance.

• Additional coverage is available upon request at an extra cost.

• The customer is responsible for damages not covered by the insurance.

8. Late Returns

• A 15-minute grace period is allowed after the scheduled return time.

• Up to 1 hour late: no penalty

• 1 to 2 hours late: €50 fee

• More than 2 hours late: a full extra rental day will be charged

• Late returns without prior notice may incur additional costs.

9. Seat Conditions

• If seats are wet or contain salt residues, they must be cleaned and dried, which may delay subsequent rentals.

• To avoid extra charges, use dry towels if wearing wet swimwear.

• Penalties:

  • €50 for one wet seat

  • €100 for two or more wet seats

10. Cancellations and Refunds

• At least 48 hours in advance: full refund

• Between 48 and 24 hours: 50% refund

• Less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund

11. Accidents, Theft and Breakdowns

• In case of an accident, the customer must contact the company and the authorities if necessary, and complete the accident report.

• In case of a breakdown, we provide roadside assistance during business hours.

• The vehicle must not be left unattended until assistance arrives.

• Theft with basic insurance: the customer must pay a penalty of €1,000 + VAT (minimum deductible). A police report must be filed within 24 hours of becoming aware of the theft.

12. Customer Conduct

• Respect all traffic regulations.

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

• Any fines or penalties incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the customer.

13. Data Protection
THE BEST RENTAL SOLUTIONS S.L. complies with current data protection regulations.
Customer data will be treated confidentially and used only for the purpose of service management.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Mondo Rent Ibiza reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and will take immediate effect.

15. Jurisdiction
For any legal disputes, both parties submit to the courts of Eivissa.
